What is BellaFill®?

Bellafill® is the one and only injectable collagen filler whose unique, long-lasting microspheres instantly smooth facial wrinkles, especially nasolabial folds, by adding collagen back into your skin. Bellafill® is also ideally suited for treating acne scarring. A BellaFill® injection from Dr. Papel, Dr. Kontis, or Dr. Brown consists of bovine collagen and biocompatible microspheres, which ensure immediate, natural-looking results that continue to improve with time.

The only unique consideration with Bellafill® is that some weeks before your injection, a skin test is done to exclude the possibility of any allergic reactions to any of the active ingredients in Bellafill®.

How is a BellaFill® Treatment Performed?

After topically numbing the area to be treated, Dr. Papel, Dr. Kontis, or Dr. Brown will utilize extremely tiny, almost microscopic, needles to inject BellaFill® beneath the folds of your fine lines and wrinkles in the targeted areas of your face. Immediately following these skillfully administered injections, you will begin to notice how BellaFill® plumps the skin and immediately reduces wrinkles and nasolabial folds making them less visible. The injection process only takes about 20 minutes to complete.

Results of Bellafill®

After your BellaFill® treatment at the Aesthetic Center at Woodholme, you will be able to return to your regularly-scheduled activities, as well as your normal daily routine. With no downtime at all, other than possibly some bruising and swelling for a few days following your treatment, your Bellafill® results will become more visible over time and your skin will look rejuvenated. The results of optimal treatments with Bellafill® can last for up to 5 years. We recommend occasional touch-up sessions to maintain your youthful facial volume and collagen levels.
