Pregnancy and breastfeeding can affect virtually the entire body, but especially the abdomen and breasts. With the mommy makeover, common concerns after pregnancy are addressed in one procedure. The procedure is actually a combination of several smaller procedures performed at the same time.

The breasts are highly affected by pregnancy and childbirth. Many women experience a loss in volume after having children and breastfeeding. With breast augmentation, this volume can be restored and the breasts can appear full and perky again.

Breast Lift

Sagging is another concern caused by pregnancy and breastfeeding. A breast lift can reposition the breasts to their youthful, perky position. A lift is often combined with a breast augmentation or breast reduction.

Drainless Tummy Tuck

How is a Mommy Makeover Performed?

Each mommy makeover is different. As such, we will not be able to discuss specifics until after we have come up with a personalized treatment plan. The procedure can include many smaller procedures at once, or you may choose to have your procedures in several different steps. The mommy makeover is typically performed under general anesthesia for your comfort. Your specific procedures will then be performed, the most common being some combination of the drainless tummy tuck, breast augmentation, breast lift, and liposuction.

Recovery After a Mommy Makeover

Your recovery after a mommy makeover will depend on the specific procedures you have done. Typically, patients can save time on recovery by choosing to have multiple procedures at once. You can expect swelling, bruising, and discomfort for the first 1-2 weeks following your procedure. Exercise can be gradually introduced after several weeks and increased once given the OK from Dr. Brown.
